Abstract Random amplified polymorphic DNA-PCR (RAPD-PCR) is a technique successfully used to generate characteristic fingerprints of different bacteria. Bacillus genus that includes heterogeneous species, thus combination techniques essential for their identification. Here we RAPD-PCR methodology distinguish among genetically similar strains and evaluate the genetic diversity species from Salar del Hombre Muerto, in Northwest Argentina. The allowed obtaining amplification profiles each strains.
